Police AED Program

Did you know that Village of North Syracuse Police Officers are not only trained in first aid and CPR, but also have access to Automated External Defibrillators or AED’s?  In fact, just last week North Syracuse Police Officers used AED’s twice during life saving efforts.  Several years ago, the department purchased one AED and one AED was donated by the North Syracuse Police Benevolent Association.  Although the initial cost and associated maintenance for these devices can be expensive, their life saving potential is priceless and it’s just another example of the service provided by the Village of North Syracuse Police Department.
