Arbor Day – Friday, April 29th – Village Celebration at 4:00 PM
This year is the 150th anniversary of Arbor Day. It will be celebrated by the Village of North Syracuse on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 4 pm at the Memorial Park Extension, 700 South Bay Road. Forester John Graham will present North Syracuse with its 33rd Tree City recognition from the Arbor Day Foundation. A hydrangea tree will be dedicated in memory of Evelyn Roecker. Mayor Gary Butterfield will make proclamation of Arbor Day. Music will be offered by Lee Turner in celebration of the holiday. Erik Imperato of Bartlett Tree Service will be offering, to any and all who attend, free trees. Everyone is welcome to attend.
