| Christmas trees can be dropped off at OCRRA’s Amboy and Jamesville Compost Sites for FREE, Jan 4 – Jan 15, 2021, Monday – Friday, from 7:30am to 3:30pm. No drop-offs on Saturday and Sunday. Wreaths are NOT accepted.
Please remove all decorations, lights, tinsel, stands and plastic bags from trees prior to dropping off at either site. Next spring, these trees become mulch used in gardens and landscape projects throughout our community.
Some towns and villages provide curbside tree pick-up. Call your local highway department for more information. |

Please take notice that the Village of North Syracuse, in response to the continuing emergency circumstances caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and consistent with the NYS Governor’s Executive Orders, including but not limited to, Executive Order 202.1, shall conduct its Zoning Board of Appeal Meeting on November 5th, 2020 commencing at 5:00 PM and to be held at the North Syracuse Comm. Center at the corner of South Bay Road and Centerville Place unless otherwise specified. The public shall not be allowed to attend the meeting due to COVID guidelines. Persons wishing to view the meeting shall be allowed to do so by viewing the Village Facebook page. Further, the public is encouraged to offer its comments in writing to the Village by email communications to codes@northsyracuseny.org no later that November 4th, 2020 by 10:00 AM. All comments will be entered into the record and distributed to all board members. Fax communications will also be accepted and may be sent to Brian Johnstone at (315) 458-5079.
