Please Take Notice that as per the Mayor of the Village of North Syracuse, in response to the continuing emergency circumstances caused by COVID-19 pandemic, shall conduct its Zoning Board Meeting on August 3, 2023 commencing at 5:00 PM and to be held at the North Syracuse Community Center at the corner of South Bay Road to Centerville  Place unless otherwise specified.  The public shall be allowed to attend the  meeting following the guidelines.  Persons wishing to view the meeting shall be allowed to do so by viewing of the Village Facebook page.  Further, the public is encouraged to offer its comments in writing to the Village by email communication to codes@northsyracuseny.org no later than August 3, 2023 by 10:00 AM.  All comments will be entered into record and distributed to all board members.  Fax communications will also be accepted and may be sent to Codes Office at (315) 458-5079.  Mail comments should be sent to:  Village of North Syracuse Codes Dept., 600 South Bay Road, North  Syracuse, NY   13212.  All meetings of the Village will be recorded and later transcribed.  The transcriptions will be made available online upon review and completion as soon as possible.

LEGAL NOTICE Village of North Syracuse COMMUNITY CENTER BASEMENT REHABILITATION PROJECT

ADVERTISEMENT FOR RFP: Sealed bids for the Community Center Basement Rehabilitation

Project located in the Village of North Syracuse will be received by Tony Burkinshaw, Director of Parks & Recreation located at 600 South Bay Road, North Syracuse, NY 13212, until 3 p.m. (local time), on Friday, June 2, 2023. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled at the Community Center at 700 South Bay Road, North Syracuse, NY 13212 at 10:00 a.m. (local time) on Monday, May 22, 2023. The RFP may be obtained electronically free of charge and/or examined at 1) the North Syracuse Village Park’s Department office located at 600 South Bay Road, North Syracuse NY 13212, 2) Dodge Data and Analytics by Dodge Construction Network, or 3) Syracuse Builders Exchange. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must agree to the conditions provided in the RFP. This project is funded by the Onondaga County Community Development Division (OCCD). All proposals shall be made and shall be received upon the following conditions: 1. Bidders will be required to commit themselves to the goals for minority business participation in the Contract. 2. Only such proposals received by the office of the Village Parks Director will be accepted. 3. Proposals are to be enclosed in a sealed envelope. No electronic proposals shall be accepted. 4. The Contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. The Village Board reserves the right to reject all bids and advertise anew, if, in the judgment of said board, it shall be in the best interest of the Village to do so. Date: May 11th, 2023.
