The Village of North Syracuse would like to take this opportunity to recognize Muralist – Monty Esposito
for the beautiful, and vibrant mural he designed and painted for the Village.  In continuing efforts to
beautify our Village, the Mayor has had some ideas and visions of 3 or 4 areas throughout the Village
for murals.  After seeing the mural at the Fish Cove in North Syracuse, we were told that Monty was
the artist who painted it.  The Village reached out to him after seeking other Muralists, Monty’s pricing
was very reasonable.  He had a passion – born and raised here, his roots were in North Syracuse.  The
Village has received multiple accolades from residents, and non-residents regarding this beautiful
artwork.  The Village Board was able to meet Monty at their September 14th Board Meeting, whereas,
the Mayor spoke of his work and welcomed him to say a few words.  Incidentally, Monty is currently
painting another mural at the Roller Skating rink in Liverpool.  The Village of North Syracuse sincerely
thanks Monty for his artisanship, and professionalism.
