Top Speed Awareness Award

Speeding is one of the most prevalent factors contributing to traffic crashes.  In New York, during 2011, 284 people were killed in motor vehicle crashes due to speeding.   It is a goal of the Village of North Syracuse Police Department to ensure the safety of our streets by aggressively enforcing traffic laws.   This agency is pleased to announce that North Syracuse Police Officer Jeffrey Tripp received the 2012 Top Speed Awareness Award presented by the Onondaga County Traffic Safety Advisory Board.

Please help me thank Officer Tripp, for representing the police department and more importantly, thank him for serving to make the streets in the Village of North Syracuse safe for us to travel.

Congratulations Jeff!
